Legacy - 100" Turbo Bushmaster - Red/Black Scheme
The legendary Cody Wojcik designed Legacy Aviation Bushmaster is now available in the ever popular 100" 35-40cc size! Powered by a 35-38cc gas engine or the Xpwr 35 or 40cc outrunner, the 100" Bushmaster delivers all of the performance and flying fun of its siblings. Featuring all the latest structural updates and quick release wing and stab mounts, the 100" Bushmaster goes together quickly and assembles in minutes at the flying field. Two great Ultracote color schemes are available, along with an optional complete float kit. For the ultimate in STOL realism, add the optional PMT inflatable bushwheel set.
Power: Bushmasters are light, slow STOL and 3D aircraft. They're not meant to fly fast. They have long wings and are very light for their size. So, do not use typical wingspan-to-engine size conventions from other 3D aircraft.
For our team pilots, we have a couple of favorite setups. In electric, we like the XPWR40cc brushless outrunner with Castle HV120A esc (on firmware 4.22 only!) on 22x10 or 23x8 electric props and 12S 4000-5000mah lipos. The XPWR35cc is a bit lighter, but we like the extre grunt of the 40 a bit better. On floats, it's no question, go with the 40.
In gas, we prefer the GP38cc gas engine. A good-running 38 pulls the plane nicely out of hover (according to the size of a bushmaster). If you want more performance, especially on floats, we recommend a DA-35 header (fits fine) and a KS-1050 tuned pipe.
