Legacy - 85" Muscle Bipe - Yellow/Black - 2 CYLINDER

Equally at home flying barnstormer airshow maneuvers as it is flying old school low and slow 3D, the Muscle Bipe's gentle manners inspire confidence for sport flyers and 3D enthusiasts alike. Styled from the classic WACO UPF-7, the Muscle Bipe has gorgeous golden age/barnstorming looks married to modern aerobatic performance.  

This twin-cylinder gas version is designed for 70-76CC twins from DA or GP, or 12S electric power.  The Muscle Bipe features quick connect mechanisms that allow it to be assembled and disassembled in a couple minutes at the flying field-without any tools! No more long and tedious assembly and tear down sessions that are typically associated with biplanes!

The Muscle Bipe features our state-of-the-art construction materials and methods, resulting in a lightweight, rigid and robust airframe. It features carbon fiber wing and stab tubes, carbon fiber landing gear and tailwheel assembly, carbon fiber main wing spars and fuselage longerons, g10/lite ply composite laminated internals and 2 gorgeous genuine Ultracote (Oracover) color schemes. Highly prefabricated, including pre-hinged and sealed control surfaces, the Muscle Bipe can be assembled in a couple evenings.

Power and CG notes: The 85" Muscle Bipe can take a variety of power systems. The DA-70 is great power at the light end of the scale, so if using the 70, locate your batteries as far forward as possible and use the pull-pull rudder servo location. The GP76 is slightly heavier than the DA-70, pull-pull is still recommended. The Muscle Bipe has a very wide CG range and measuring CG on the ground is not typically needed if using 70-76CC gas. We recommend placing receiver batteries forward in the fuel tank area.

With a little custom work, a 40mm-drop Y-header and TD-110H (rear exhaust) canister muffler can be installed. A modeler with a few previous gas airplanes should be able to handle this install. 

For electric, we recommend the XPWR60CC outrunner with CastleCreations HV160S ESC (with 4.22 Firmware only), 24x12 electric prop. Use the pull-pull rudder location. Use 12S 5000-6500mah batteries, with 5000mah we prefer our Rx batteries far forward and a few ounces of noseweight on the firewall.
