EF - 49" Laser - White/Blue/Red - ARF
The 49” Laser from Extreme Flight brings the incredible performance of the EF Laser to this new parkflyer size. The Extreme Flight Laser performance is legendary, capturing freestyle aerobatics titles worldwide and becoming the favorite airplane of a generation of aerobatic pilots. Now the classic Laser is available in this exciting mini size with new aerodynamics, and cosmetic and structural improvements over previous small aircraft.
The 49” Laser uses the renowned GenV aerodynamics package like the latest aircraft in our lineup. It has great harrier stability and easy hovering for pilots looking to improve their 3D skills. It’s also a seriously maneuverable XA machine and (when using the recommended servos and arms) has serious precision to take your flying to the highest level.
Built like a mini version of our 67” Laser, the 49” has a carbon wingtube, carbon landing gear, ultracote covering, quick-latching wings, finished cockpit, geometric slip-in stabilizer for quick and accurate assembly, pre-hinged stab and wings, pre-assembled competition-grade ball-link hardware, and preinstalled cooling baffles and a host of prefabricated details to speed up assembly.
The 49” Laser is optimized for the T-Motor AM480 power system. When matched with the T-Motor AM66 ESC, it requires no programming, just calibrate your throttle and go. The AM480 is available in two different KV’s, 900 and 600. The 900KV is matched to 4S lipo batteries, 2000-2700mah, and gives extreme vertical performance to the 49” Laser. The 600KV version, however, is matched to 6S lipo batteries, 1800-2250mah, and the vertical performance is next-level. You’ve never felt so much power in a parkflyer before!!
NOTE FOR ARF USING OLDER AM480: the 49” aircraft are designed around 50mm length AM480 motors. Some AM480’s have been produced at 52mm length in the past. This presents no problems for assembly or flight, but will lead to a 2mm larger gap between the spinner and cowl. If you are concerned about this gap, contact Extreme Flight for options.
We highly recommend the EF/Theta 921 servo and matching Extreme Flight 1” aluminum servo arm. The days of imprecise parkflyer servos are over. These new 921’s are strong, precise, and durable.
